Ingredients:

1 large carrot
1 whole medium onion
1 tablespoon butter
6 cups of water
1 cup pasta noodle (I used whole wheat rotini)
1 (12.5 oz) canned chicken breast
2 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder
½ teaspoon dried oregano
Step 1
Chop celery into 0.5” – 1” wide pieces. Chop carrot into 0.5” wide pieces. Chop and cube one whole medium onion into small pieces.

Heat up a large cooking pot on the stove on medium heat. Once pot is hot, add in 1 tablespoon of butter to melt. Use a spatula and stir the butter as it melts to prevent it from burning.
Step 3
Add all your chopped celery, carrot, and onion into the pot and saute for 10 minutes on medium heat. The onion should become a translucent color.
Step 4
Add in 6 cups of water to your pot and 1 cup of pasta noodle. Bring heat up to high to bring water to a boil. Once the water boils, lower the heat to medium-low, add a lid to your pot and let pot simmer for 20 mins or until pasta noodles are cooked and tender.
