Fast and Easy Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe

Follow my simple chicken noodle soup recipe for an easy and fast meal! My quick and easy chicken noodle soup is so simple to make!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 large celery sticks
  • 1 large carrot
  • 1 medium whole onion
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 cup pasta noodle rotini
  • 2 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions
 

  • Chop celery into 0.5” - 1” wide pieces. Chop carrot into 0.5”wide pieces. Chop and cube one whole medium onion into small pieces.
  • Heat up a large cooking pot on the stove on medium heat.Once pot is hot, add in 1 tablespoon of butter to melt. Use a spatula and stir the butter as it melts to prevent it from burning.
  • Add all your chopped celery, carrot, and onion into the pot and saute for 10 minutes on medium heat. The onion should become a translucent color.
  • Add in 6 cups of water to your pot and 1 cup of pasta noodle.Bring heat up to high to bring water to a boil. Once the water boils, lower the heat to medium-low, add a lid to your pot and let pot simmer for 20 mins or until pasta noodles are cooked and tender.
  • Drain your canned chicken breast. Add the chicken breast to your pot.
  • Add 2 teaspoons of chicken bouillon powder and ½ teaspoon dried oregano to your pot and stir. Turn off heat.
