One of my favorite healthy desserts to eat is fresas con crema, also known as strawberries and cream! It is a Mexican dessert that is sweet, creamy, and crunchy from the fresh strawberries. It is packed with fresh strawberries which provides fiber and nutrients. Fresas con crema is a super easy dessert to make that requires no oven, stove, or microwave. This dessert is a no bake dessert, and will take you under five minutes to make!
This recipe is perfect to make when you need to whip up a quick dessert. It only requires five ingredients to make. You will need fresh strawberries, sour cream, evaporated milk, condensed milk and vanilla extract. Using all the ingredients cost me less than $5! Fresa con crema is such an affordable dessert to make. You will want to make these every week after giving this a try!
Fresas con crema tastes best when it is chilled, so make sure all your ingredients are cold or you can make the dessert and then chill it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Fresas Con Crema, Mexican Strawberries and Cream Dessert
Ingredients
- 16 oz fresh strawberries
- 1 cup of sour cream
- 1 can of evaporated milk
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 2 tablespoon vanilla extract
Step 1
Wash your fresh strawberries in cold water. De-stem and slice your strawberries into small slices. Set aside.
Step 2
In a large mixing bowl, add 1 cup of sour cream, 1 can of evaporated milk, 1 can of condensed milk, and 2 tablespoon of vanilla extract. Use a whisk or electric hand mixer to mix everything together until smooth.
Step 3
In a cup or serving bowl, assemble your sliced strawberries to fill it all the way up.
Step 4
Pour your cream mixture over the strawberries.
