Taco cups are super easy to make. They also stay crunchy so your guests can bite into crunchy tacos without the hassle of going down a taco buffet line. Your guests can just grab and eat! This recipe is so quick and easy, you’ll be shocked why you have not made muffin tin tacos before! All the ingredients used to make this recipe are also cheap, so these are very affordable party appetizers to make. You will be known for your amazing party food while not breaking your bank account!
Easy Taco Cups, Muffin Tin Tacos
Ingredients
Serving Size = 12 taco cups
- 1 lbs of ground beef
- 1 package of taco seasoning (I used Taco Bell taco seasoning)
- 3 large flour tortilla
- diced tomato (as desired)
- chopped green onion (as desired)
- shredded cheddar cheese (as desired)
Step 1
Prep your oven by preheating it to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2
While oven is preheating, heat up a large skillet on your stove top on medium heat. Add your 1 lb of ground beef and cook until brown. Add in one package of your taco seasoning. Mix well with your browned meat. Turn off the heat on your stove and set meat aside.
Step 3
Evenly cut each flour tortillas into 4 quarters.
Step 4
Line each of your muffin cup with a tortilla quarter. Make sure to press the tortilla down into the muffin cup so that when it bakes, it will keep a cup shape.
Step 5
Put the muffin tray into the preheated oven for 10 minutes or until you see the edges golden brown. Keep an eye on the tortillas to make sure they are not burnt. Remove the muffin tray from the oven.
Step 6
Use a spoon and fill each tortilla cup with your taco meat mixture. Top with diced tomato, chopped green onion, and sprinkle cheddar cheese.
Serve with your favorite salsa or tabasco sauce.
