- 1 ¼ cup rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup brown sugar packed
- ½ cup white granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ cup butter melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup chocolate chips
Prep the oven by preheating it to 350° Fahrenheit.
In a large bowl, add the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, white granulated sugar, salt, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract together. Use an electric hand mixer or stand mixer to mix the cookie batter together well.
Fold in the chocolate chips. Use your hands and make about 2" round diameter cookie dough balls. Place them on a baking pan that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray or lightly coated with oil. Lightly flatten the top of the cookie.
Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
