Cook Time 15 minutes
Course Dessert
Servings 8 scoops

Ingredients

  • 1 ¾ cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup brewed Thai tea
  • ¼ cup condensed milk can substitute with white granulated sugar

Instructions

  • Brew Thai tea. Boil one cup of water in a pot on the stove. Once water is boiling, add 4 tablespoons of Thai tea into the pot. Let tea boil in water for about 2 mins then turn off the heat. Let tea sit in water for about 10 minutes.
  • Prepare pouring tea into a cup. Strain the tea using a teabag or cheese cloth. Put tea into the refrigerator for about one hour or until tea is completely cold.
  • Add 1 ¾ cup of heavy cream, ¾ cup of brewed tea, and ¼ cup of condense milk into your blender. Blend on high for about 3-5 minutes or until mixture is a soft serve ice cream texture.
  • Your ice cream is now ready to be eaten (if you like a very soft serve texture) or you can pour your ice cream mixture into an ice cream container and freeze for a stiffer ice cream texture.
If you do not have an ice cream container, any airtight container will work. Some plastic containers will get brittle in the freezer so check to make sure it is freezer safe.
