Healthy Banana Matcha Ice Cream, Matcha Ice Cream

Easy, 3 ingredient matcha ice cream recipe! This recipe does not require you to have an ice cream maker to make ice cream right at home!

Equipment

  • powder blender or food processor (do NOT use a regular blender - regular blender motors may burn)

Ingredients

  • 3 large bananas peeled and frozen
  • 6 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 4 tablespoon condense milk

Matcha Glaze

  • ½ cup confectioners sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk add more as needed for desired consistency
  • 2 teaspoon matcha powder

Instructions
 

Healthy Banana Matcha Ice Cream, Matcha Ice Cream

  • Chop your frozen bananas into 1-2″ sized pieces. This will allow the powder blender or food processor to easily break down the banana.
  • Put your 3 frozen cut bananas,  6 teaspoons of machta powder, and 4 tablespoons of condense milk into your powder blender or food processor.
  • Blend until mixture is in a cream texture. Remember to stop the powder blender or food processor when frozen bananas get stuck. Be safe and make sure powder blender or food processor has fully stopped or is unplugged, and mix up the mixture using a spoon or spatula to unclog the areas that are stuck to continue to blend as needed. Your ice cream should have the texture of a soft serve-ice cream.
  • Your ice cream is now ready to be eaten or you can pour your ice cream mixture into an ice cream container and freeze.
    If you do not have an ice cream container, any airtight container will work.Some plastic containers will get brittle in the freezer so check to make sure it is freezer safe.

Matcha Glaze

  • Mix all your glaze ingredients together (½ cup confectioners sugar, 1 tablespoon milk, 2 teaspoon of matcha powder) and mix until smooth.
