Classic Easy Deviled Eggs Recipe

Follow my recipe for a basic classic deviled eggs appetizer. You can easily elevate this deviled eggs recipe by adding toppings such as crunchy bacon and chopped chives. - 6 large eggs
- 2 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 2 teaspoon relish or chopped pickles
- salt
- pepper
- bacon optional
- paprika for garnish
Bring a pot filled with water to a boil. Once water boils, carefully add in 6 eggs. Boil for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, carefully put your boiled eggs into an ice bowl to rapidly cool the eggs. Let eggs lay in ice water for about 1 hour to let it fully cool down.
Carefully de-shell your eggs. Cut the egg in half longs way.
Carefully remove the egg yolk and place it into a bowl. Set the egg white aside on a plate.
Use a fork and mash the egg yolk. Add mayonnaise, mustard, and relish into the bowl with egg yolks and mix well until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Add your deviled eggs yolk mixture into a piping bag or ziplock bag. Pipe the mixture into the yolk cavity of the egg whites.
Sprinkle paprika on top, and add pieces of bacon to garnish.
